How to apply for a nursing job in the USA, Canada or Australia

How to apply for a nursing job in the USA, Canada or Australia?
I'm a 22 year-old registered Filipino nurse, currently working in a local hospital. For personal reasons, I'm hoping to work overseas either in the US, Canada or Australia. I have started checking out on-line recruiters. I hope someone out there could recommend a reliable one. Or better yet, knows a place (hospital, clinic) that's currently in need of a nurse. Thanks a lot.

You can't apply for a job. We need jobs for our Citizens. Bringing more people into the country will only decrease our chances of having a better economy. We don't have any jobs left. And the ones we do have left are reserved for the 22% of the unemployed population.

Well America is all ways in need of nurses. I am 19 and a freshman so I don't know much about getting jobs. But I'm just wondering, how is your english so good if you're Filipino? Does everyone know english there? and the person above me is annoying. I am not that smart but I don't think there is huge amount of unemployed Nurses in America. Nurses get hired and they are always in need. especially if you're smart and a quick learner, I am SURE you will be able to find a job and make a nice enjoyable life in america. and bringing foreigners into this country will not decrease our chances of having a better economy, foreign people have always been the backbone of this country ever since America was created. good luck! and i know im bias since i live in america, but i hope you choose to live here!

i agree with lilmisssunshine. there's not any chance of you coming to the states when our unemployment rate is 22%. the other person doesn't know what he's talking about. maybe he's also from the 3rd world country.

Australia will welcome you and there is plenty of work here for experienced Registered Nurses. Many of our larger hospitals offer sponsorship to RNs from overseas. One of them is the Mater Hospital in Brisbane: http://www.exceptional.org.au/vacancies/overseas/ Mater overseas recruiting http://nurseinfo.com.au/overseas Nursing in Australia http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/medical-practitioners/nurses.htm Visa information
