US Nursing license doesn't valid in Canada. If you want to immigrate to Canada, apply college in Canada obtain nursing degree and license and look for employment in Canada. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/index.asp http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/index.asp

You will have to take the Provincial any Province) R.N. exams to work in Canada.... The economy is so bad Nurses are being laid off or frozen out of work....The situation will improve but it won't be for a while. It is not so easy to get into Canada....there are a lot of loops you have to jump over and this is why Canada remains such a wonderful country.

YES Nurses are in demand in Canada so if you train in USA you will have to sit the provincial nursing exam (this depends on which province you choose to live in) to prove your knowledge but otherwise you should be accpeted to immigrate after you graduate AND after you have worked for at least 1 year. you do need to save up money in case you cant find a job in Canada. It is NOT necessary to look for a job in Canada but if you dont find a job you have to have CAN $11,000 minimum, saved up to live on while you do look for a job.
